Description
The journal size is 18x24 cm, 7.1x9.4inches.
For the book block I used ivory paper made by Fedrigoni, sewed by hand. Edges was carved and antiqued by hand too in a design that fits the covers.
I made the covers in leather, tooled, colored and molded by hand.
The girl from the first cover I molded it in polymer clay first and after that I'd made a sylicon negative and copy it in resine, which is resistent. After that I painted it too look like old brass. You can see in the pictures the evolution of girl.
Ramona asked me a journal with a girl sleeping on it. After a long time, thanks to her patience, this is the result. I hope you'll enjoy the pictures.
